Ray Ban Wayfarers 2140 50mm or 54mm?

I have a rounder face and find the new ray bans to be too narrow. I have tried on a vintage pair that were bigger and really liked them. I am unsure of the style, I believe they were the 2140′s….. I see that they are available in 50mm and 54mm. Does anyone know if the Wayfarer 2140′s are slightly wider set than the new models in stores?…. and if so, would the 54mm be what I would want?

Thanks!
My question is in regards to if the 2140′s are indeed the bigger wayfarer frame, opposed to the new model recently released….. which seems a little more rectangle and squished…..and if they are does the 54mm just change the lens size OR does it also change the bridge size making it not a wider look, but an actual wider fit. I want a bigger look with the frames, not a different fit.
